Anganwadi workers and assistants provided deputation and memorandum to the Social Welfare Department!

Anganwadi workers and helpers have given deputation and memorandum to the Social Welfare Department in view of the circular issued by the government that those who are above 60 years of age will not be allowed to work from May 30.
Anganwadi workers and helpers above 60 years of age will no longer be able to work in Anganwadi centers from May 30. In this regard, a written notice has been sent to all concerned from the Department of Social Welfare and Social Education After 60 years of receiving such notices, an uncertainty has arisen among the Urdha Anganwadi workers and helpers. Because they were hopeful that they will be able to work till 65 years All of a sudden, the circular that has been made to work for up to 60 years is about to strike their heads. In the prevailing situation, Anganwadi workers and helpers on Friday appealed to the Director of Social Welfare and Social Education Department to issue deputation and memorandum to allow them to work as substitute staff till the age of 65 years.

After the deputation, the leaders of the organization told reporters that many of the Anganwadi workers and helpers are unmarried and none have husbands and children. They continued to work hoping to work till the age of 65 This work is their only means of survival They have become helpless due to the circular that has been issued by the government They demanded sympathetic consideration of the matter Besides, they demanded to pay retirement allowance and gratuity to Anganwari workers.
