Agartala: Feb 28: A serious conspiracy is being alleged against SR Education, an out-of-state coaching center located near MBB College in Agartala, Tripura. The coaching center, which claims to provide special facilities for courses such as MBBS, Pharmacy, BDS, B.Tech, B.Ed, MBA, Paramedical, and Nursing across several states including Tripura, West Bengal, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, has become the center of a major controversy. A large signboard displayed outside the coaching center promoted these courses, drawing in many students who believed the promises made by the center.
Over the past few months, several students enrolled in the B.Ed course, paying a significant amount—35,000 rupees in installments—to the authorities. The students were assured of admission to a B.Ed program in West Bengal. However, when the time came to travel for the new academic session, the coaching center’s authorities abruptly informed the students that they had no knowledge of the course or any arrangement in West Bengal. The students were left in a lurch, having lost both their money and time.
In response to this situation, a group of affected students gathered outside SR Education on Friday, voicing their anger and frustration. They are demanding a thorough investigation by the Chief Minister and the state government into the activities of this coaching center. The students have appealed for action to be taken against the coaching center to prevent future incidents of fraud that could cause others to suffer the same fate.
The incident has raised serious concerns about the unchecked operations of such coaching centers, and many are urging the authorities to ensure that no student is exploited in this manner again. Without prompt action, more students could potentially be misled, wasting their time and money in the process.
