Agartala April 7: TRBT did not take initiative to give correct starmarks even after the mistake in the TET exam question paper. TET exam is conducted on 29th and 30th December 2022 through TRBT. There were several mistakes in spelling and in the question paper. At the end of the exam, the candidates brought the matter to the attention of TRBT several times. The Controller of Examinations of TRBT assured them that all these matters will be verified through experts. There are 22 questions in TET-1 and 31 questions in TET-II.
But on Thursday, TRBT released the final answer. It gave a star mark in one question in the Tate-One exam paper. And out of 31 papers in TET-2, four papers in arts section gave star marks. In this situation, TRBT did not award star marks to extra-syllabus question papers. Then there are spelling mistakes in the answer sheet. No star marks were given for that either. TRBT released the final key without resolving these three issues. The candidates demanded that these problems be solved during the publication of the final answer key. They said this at a press conference at Agartala Press Club on Friday. 8 star marks were given in 2018 and 9 star marks in 2021. They questioned why they are being deprived. The Tate candidates appealed to the Chief Minister to consider the matter seriously. The so-called Hubu teachers demand that they give starmarks for answering extra-syllabus questions. Otherwise they will be deprived. That is what they demand.
