Agartala: Jan 02: Concerns have been raised regarding the condition of Primary Health Centers in the state, with allegations of negligence and indifference from the health department. These concerns have been highlighted in the case of Anandnagar Ayushman Arogya Mandir in the capital city, where patients from Anandnagar, Srinagar, Maheshkhala, and surrounding areas seek treatment daily.

Reports indicate that patients and their families have experienced inadequate treatment from doctors and health workers at the hospital. On Thursday, a patient’s family reported that after bringing a patient to the hospital on Wednesday, the doctor prescribed medicines, and the nurses administered injections and saline. However, no medical staff attended to the patient until 10 am on Thursday. When the family attempted to speak with the doctor, they were allegedly met with unprofessional behavior.
