Agartala: April 30: At an event held on the premises of AD Nagar School today, the Agartala Municipal Corporation distributed cold drinking water, towels, caps, and watermelons to sanitation workers under the initiative of Ward No. 39 of the Municipal Corporation. Present on the occasion were Mayor of the Municipal Corporation Deepak Majumdar, Corporator Alok Roy, and others.

In an interview, Mayor of the Municipal Corporation Deepak Majumdar said that people are suffering due to the intense heat in Agartala city along with the entire state. Therefore, cold drinks and watermelons are being distributed to the common people walking on the streets under the initiative of various wards and corporators of the Municipal Corporation. As a part of this, cold drinking water, towels, caps, and watermelons were distributed to the sanitation workers today under the initiative of the corporator of Ward No. 39 of the Municipal Corporation.
