Agartala: June 18: The Government Railway Police (GRP) in Agartala have successfully intercepted a drug trafficking attempt at Badarghat Railway Station, resulting in the seizure of 21 kg of dry ganja (cannabis). A young individual, originating from outside the state, was arrested during the operation.

The GRP’s action was based on credible intelligence, leading to a well-timed raid and the recovery of the illicit substance. The accused was reportedly in the process of transporting the ganja to Patna and Delhi with intentions of distribution. Following the arrest, an NDPS case has been filed, and the individual is set to be presented in court for further legal proceedings.
