OC Debasis Saha of Melaghar police station said that they will continue such operations in the coming days. However, where today’s ganja cutting is done, all the places were under the forest department. Besides, a ganja cutting operation was also conducted in Shivnagar under Melaghar police station on the initiative of Melaghar police station the day after yesterday. This kind of anti-narcotics drive by Melaghar police station has become a headache for ganja dealers and various drug dealers. However, various circles have expressed the opinion that this kind of anti-drug operation of Melaghar police station is very positive.
