A special discussion meeting was organized at Agartala Rabindra Centenary Bhawan on Wednesday with the aim of making TB free Tripura by 2025.
Agartala Pur Nigam Mayor Deepak Majumdar and others were present on behalf of the State Health Department for the purpose of making TB free panchayat.

Mayor Deepak Majumdar while addressing the said meeting said, ‘TB disease is a serious public health problem. To tackle this problem, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of eliminating TB by 2025 As a part of TB free India campaign, Prime Minister called for TB free panchayats Panchayats will play an important role in eradicating TB from now on To achieve this goal, various programs are being conducted across the country as well as in our state
