On Thursday 22nd june, a raid was conducted in Durga Choumuhani market on the initiative of Sadar Mahakumar Shas .A and the Food Department. During the raid, the officials of the Food Department caught several traders red-handed and sold the items at high prices. An official of the Food Department said that the names of these traders who are selling potatoes and eggs at high prices have been registered, although they have not been fined. An official of the Food Department said that the operation will continue every day. According to the directive, from now on every market will be raided if any trader sells goods in black market or chala paddy and the food department will immediately take action against those traders.
