Bloodshed over bursting fire crackers

Udaipur: In a bizarre incident, a family clash over bursting fire crackers turned bloody as a 50-year old person was left severely injured due to the brutal attacks of his brother in law, nephews and relatives. The victim in the case, Sukumar Saha had been rushed to hospital. He was bleeding profusely when he was rushed to the hospital. Sources said, the victim Sukumar Saha got engaged into a verbal spat with his nephew Tutan Saha and Laxman Debnath and brother in law Gouranga Debnath surrounding bursting of fire crackers on the night of Laxmi Puja.The trio allegedly launched fatal attacks on the victim leaving him seriously injured. He was rushed to Gomati District hospital Tepania for treatment. He was soon referred to GBP hospital for advanced treatment. One of the accused Laxman Debnath was arrested from the hospital premises on the same night.
