Agartala: Oct 10: A hanging body of a man was found in Raban Bagan in Shil Para area at seven in the morning. On receiving the information, the police of Manpathar outpost rushed to the spot. The police recovered the body and sent it to Shantir Bazar District Hospital for post-mortem. But till now the cause of death has not been found. For now, the police have started investigating the case of unusual death.
According to the incident, Jibandhan Shil (45), of Birchandra Nagar area under Shantir Bazar subdivision, left his house on Monday. He did not return home at night. Finally, on Tuesday morning, while cutting rubber trees in a rubber garden, the local people saw the hanging body of Jibandhan Shil in the trees of the garden. Immediately they sent the news to Manpathar outpost police station. The body will be handed over to the family members after post-mortem. Jibandhan Shil’s sudden death has cast a pall over the entire region.
