Agartala, October 4: State Congress president Ashish Kumar Saha has announced that the district committee and block committee of the Congress will go on strike over the increase in electricity consumption. Besides, a meeting of Sadar District Committee was held at Pradesh Congress Bhavan on Wednesday.

In the meeting, state president Ashish Kumar Saha said that by increasing the electricity tariff, the burden has been placed on the shoulders of the people of the state unethically.
