Central and state governments want drug free India, drug free Tripura. Minister Santana Chakma said this in an event at Agartala Government Medical College on Wednesday. The certificate distribution ceremony was a joint initiative of Directorate of Skill Development and Agartala GB Hospital. Besides, the MIS portal was also inaugurated.
Inaugurating the program, Industry and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma also said that the government has taken the initiative to make the unemployed youth self-reliant through skill development. Many people who have already trained in this program are actively working in various fields. He said that skills are required in all fields these days. He expressed the hope that those who have received the certificate at the end of the training today will also become self-reliant through successful work in different parts of the country in the future. Chief Secretary of Industry and Commerce Department KS Shetty, NSICA Zonal General Manager Bijay Prakash, AGMCO GBP Hospital MS Dr. Shankar Chakraborty, Director of Skill Development Department Sanjay Chakraborty, AGMC Principal Professor Arup Kumar Saha, Dr. Samarpita Dutta and others were present. During the discussion, the minister said that not only the government, but everyone works together to build a drug-free India and a drug-free Tripura. Besides, the Minister also said that the Skill Development Department is trying to train those who are willing to become self-reliant.
