Agartala, September 13: President Draupadi Murmu today inaugurated the Ayushman Bhava project as part of Ayushman Bharat across the country. As a part of this, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha inaugurated the Ayushman Bhava project in Tripura.
On this day, the program was inaugurated at the office premises of the District Chief Health Officer in North District Headquarter Dharmanagar. North District District Magistrate Nagesh Kumar B, North Zilla Parishad Chairman Bhavatosh Das, Chief Health Officer Dr. Arunabha Chakraborty, Medical Superintendent Dr. Deepak Halder and all the officials of the health department were present in the opening ceremony.
Basically, the Ayushman Bhava Yojana program will be held from September 17 to October 2. Ayushman Bharat program was started in 2018. Ayushman Bhava program was started as part of it. Health and Wellness Centers have been prioritized under this programme. Moreover, Prime Minister’s Jan Arogya Yojana, Prime Minister’s Health Infrastructure Mission, Prime Minister’s Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and Ayushman Bharat School Health and Wellness Program are under the purview of this Ayushman Bhavar. Already the work of Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat School Health and Wellness Program has started in Uttar district. Two ambassadors have been sent to each school for training.
The main objective of this mission is to reach every health related scheme to common people. Plans are underway to achieve 100 percent improvement in every health parameter by 2030. Therefore Asha workers and Anganwari workers should work properly in every ward in different villages to create 100 percent health awareness among the people, hence the importance of health workers to build a health and healthy India by 2030.
