Jindal Institute of Behavioral Sciences (JIBS), organized a training program on “Emotional Wellness and Stress Management” for school principals, teachers and counselors to an impressive gathering of academicians at a private hotel in Agartala on Saturday.
More than 250 educators from 50 schools participated in the session which emphasized the importance of maintaining a proper work-life balance by incorporating stress management techniques like mindfulness.
“Driven by a keen sense of social responsibility, Jindal Institute of Behavioral Sciences (JIBS) engages in extensive community outreach programs by providing pro-bono capacity-building training to school teachers.
Till date, Dr. Sanjeev P Sahni and team of researchers at JIBS have trained more than 2,00,000 teachers and school administrators in more than 8000 schools across the world.

Jindal Institute of Behavioral Sciences implements an innovative approach inspired by a higher education context using the pillars of a flexible environment, learning culture, purposeful content, and professional educators model.
They intend to expand the scope of this training program to train teachers to deal with disorders such as dyspraxia or developmental coordination disorder (DCD). “The pro-bono training module has also been developed to include topics relevant to efforts to reach remote schools in the country,” Dr Sanjeev P Sahni, Professor, Jindal Institute of Behavioral Sciences, told a press conference today.
