The villagers of the local area blocked the road as the electricity service was off for 4 days in the Gopalpur area.

Due to light rain, electricity service was stopped in various remote areas of Kanchanpur sub-division of Uttar district. In this situation, the villagers of Gopalpur area were deprived of electricity service for four days. Therefore, the villagers of Gopalpur blocked the road in Shantipur area around 10.30 midnight on Saturday, June 17 due to the forced shutdown of the electricity service. After receiving the news, the police came to the spot and discussed with the high-ranking officials of the department for a long time.
