A woman leader present said that in the last one month, five incidents of torture of brides have come to light in the state Seven cases of rape and gang rape have come to light There are four cases of molestation But the legal action against the accused was not enough As a result, these miscreants are encouraged to organize more such incidents every day Recently, a girl was molested in Ramnagar, Agartala, miscreants kidnapped a girl in Melagher, a five-year-old girl was brutally raped in Udaipur’s Kakraban, three youths gang-raped a minor in Tepaniya Park.

Despite going to the Chief Minister, Superintendent of Police along with the Director General of State Police against this kind of violence against women, no action is being taken. And the biggest thing is that the State Women’s Commission is not investigating the incidents Not forcing police stations to take strict action against criminal incidents Therefore, they said that they have joined the protest in front of the Women’s Commission.
