They are all Rohingya, illegally entered India by climbing the barbed wire fence. The BSF intelligence personnel then handed over the arrested persons to the Teliamura Railway Police. Later, they were interrogated by Teliamura GRP police and BSF intelligence personnel who came to know that they entered the state through the area adjacent to the Bishalgarh border. Originally their destination was Bangalore. The five Rohingya infiltrators, including children, women, who have been detained are – Mohammad Rashid, Parmin Begum, Mohammad Usman and Khairul Amin along with a 2-year-old baby girl. GRP DSP Soumen Sarkar said that the investigation into why the arrested persons crossed India and where they were going or who else was with them, where they were planning to go, is going on. They were produced in court on Tuesday. However, Bhijmahal believes that the illegal entry of Rohingyas into India is quite alarming.
