The minister’s outreach programme took him to the homes of party workers and residents who have recently experienced personal loss or hardship. Through these visits, Chowdhury sought to convey his solidarity and support to families going through difficult times, reaffirming the importance of compassionate public service.

During his visit to the residence of party worker Ratan Pal, the minister expressed his heartfelt condolences following the demise of Pal’s mother, who passed away recently due to age-related illness. Chowdhury met the bereaved family members, offered prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his sympathy during their time of grief.

Later, the minister visited the home of Monindra Debnath, whose 31-year-old son, Ram Debnath, died unexpectedly. Describing the incident as deeply tragic and heartbreaking, Chowdhury expressed profound sorrow and extended his condolences to the grieving family. He assured them of his support and prayed for strength and courage for the family to overcome the difficult period.

The minister also called on party worker Sukanta Debnath, who sustained serious injuries in an accident. During the visit, Chowdhury enquired about his health condition, interacted with family members and wished him a speedy and complete recovery. He encouraged the injured worker to remain positive and assured him of all possible assistance.

Residents of the constituency appreciated the minister’s gesture, stating that such personal visits reflect a genuine concern for the welfare of the people. Many noted that Chowdhury’s approach to public life goes beyond administrative responsibilities and demonstrates a sincere effort to maintain direct contact with citizens.

Locals said the minister’s presence during moments of grief and hardship strengthens the relationship between elected representatives and the community. They added that such interactions foster trust and reinforce the belief that public representatives remain accessible to the people they serve.

The minister’s outreach programme highlighted his conviction that leadership is not limited to governance and policy decisions alone but also involves standing beside people during their most challenging moments and offering support, empathy and reassurance.
