Among the dignitaries present were Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma, Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, Industries and Commerce Secretary Kiran Gitte, OSD to the Chief Minister Paramananda Sarkar Banerjee, and Director of Skill Development Pradeep K.

The initiative aims to equip Tripura’s youth with language proficiency, personality development, and employability skills to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global economy. Under the project, the School of Languages will offer certificate courses in foreign languages such as German, French, Japanese, and Spanish, along with Indian languages including Sanskrit, Hindi, and Bengali.

The Centre for Human Excellence will conduct personality development programmes inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, focusing on leadership, self-confidence, management skills, positive thinking, and value-based education. The institution will also organize motivational programmes for parents and special workshops for school students.

The proposed campus, to be constructed on Ramakrishna Mission land at Dhaleshwar, Agartala, will feature a modern G+3 building equipped with computer and language laboratories, smart classrooms, a meditation hall, digital and book libraries, and a seminar hall.

Officials said the institution is expected to train at least 1,000 students annually and emerge as a premier centre of learning for the entire Northeast, creating new opportunities for employment, personal growth, and regional development.
