The two-day Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Mandal Prashikshan Karyakram, an important organizational training initiative of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was inaugurated on Saturday at Banamalipur by Tripura BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee. The programme forms part of the party’s nationwide Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan, a large-scale campaign aimed at strengthening the organization by creating a well-trained and disciplined cadre base across the country.

The initiative seeks to reinforce the party’s grassroots structure by providing workers with a better understanding of BJP’s ideology, organizational principles, and practical methods of functioning. During the inaugural session, Bhattacharjee interacted with the trainees, extended greetings, and spoke about the guiding philosophy and values that drive the party’s activities and long-term objectives.

Addressing media persons on the sidelines of the programme, the BJP state president described the campaign as a significant and ongoing organizational exercise intended to prepare dedicated workers capable of contributing effectively to the party’s growth and outreach efforts.

He highlighted that one of the major focuses of the training programme is to ensure that party workers gain detailed knowledge about various flagship welfare schemes implemented by both the central and state governments. According to him, a thorough understanding of these initiatives would enable workers to communicate government policies more effectively and connect with people at the grassroots level.

Bhattacharjee stated that strengthening communication with citizens and expanding awareness regarding welfare programmes remain important objectives of the training sessions. He also stressed the need for disciplined and informed workers who can actively engage with communities and address public concerns.

The programme reflects BJP’s broader organizational strategy in Tripura, where emphasis is being placed on cadre development and leadership building at the grassroots level. Party organizers noted that similar training sessions are being conducted across different parts of the state to equip workers for future political challenges and deepen their understanding of the philosophy and ideals of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

The initiative is expected to further strengthen the party’s organizational network and enhance its engagement with people across Tripura.
