Agartala March 13: A meeting was held with Traffic SP, AMC North Zone Chairman Pradeep Chand, Mayor-in-Council member Hiralal Debnath, Shampa Sen, representatives of businessmen and syndicates on Monday regarding the illegal occupation of the road including parking in the GB area under the North Zone and the relocation of the shopkeepers. Held basically, for a long time in the GB area, illegal occupation of the road, vehicle parking and illegal business have created problems. Due to which everyone had to face problems.

Finally, North Zone of Municipal Corporation took action against this illegal parking and street trading. Initiatives are taken to arrange them at alternative places. A meeting was held on that day. AMC North Zone Chairman Pradeep Chand said that the Pur Nigam is taking measures to keep Agartala city free of litter and against encroachment of roads and dumping of construction materials. An initiative has been taken to beautify the GB area by removing illegally parked cars and shops at the entrance of GB Hospital. AMC North Zone Chairman Pradeep Chand said that such initiatives have been taken mainly for the convenience of movement. He urged to refrain from illegally parking vehicles and leaving construction materials on the roads to create traffic difficulties.
