The Bharatiya Janata Party’s newly elected national president, Nitin Nabin, presided over his first major organisational meeting at the party’s national headquarters on Wednesday, marking an important step in outlining the party’s future strategy and direction.
The high-level meeting was attended by Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and Tripura BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee, along with all national office bearers, state presidents, and senior leaders representing various states and organisational wings of the party. The presence of key functionaries from across the country underscored the BJP’s focus on collective leadership, coordination, and inclusive decision-making.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Rajib Bhattacharjee said the session reflected the party’s commitment to strengthening its organisational structure and sharpening its connect with the people. He noted that discussions were centred on making the organisation more structured, dynamic, and responsive to public aspirations, while reinforcing the BJP’s core ideological values.
Bhattacharjee added that the newly elected national president provided important guidance and directives regarding the party’s future course of action. Nitin Nabin emphasised the need to further strengthen grassroots outreach by energising booth-level workers, expanding organisational networks, and ensuring seamless coordination between the central and state units of the party.
The meeting also focused on consolidating organisational gains achieved in recent years and preparing the party machinery to effectively address upcoming political and electoral challenges. Leaders deliberated on strategies to enhance communication with citizens, address local and national issues more effectively, and maintain a strong presence across urban and rural constituencies.
According to party leaders, the session highlighted the importance of discipline, teamwork, and continuous engagement with the public as key pillars of the BJP’s organisational strength. Special emphasis was placed on capacity-building of party workers and adopting innovative approaches to connect with different sections of society, especially youth and first-time voters.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of unity and purpose, as leaders expressed confidence that under the leadership of Nitin Nabin, the BJP would continue to strengthen its organisational base and work towards fulfilling the expectations and aspirations of the people across the country.
