Agartala: Mar 03: Since the declaration of Tripura assembly election results, the state has witnessed some sporadic incidents of violence. Concerned administration. Therefore, the district administration took steps to prevent criminal incidents from happening in various areas in the western district. On Friday afternoon, West District Governor Debpriya Bardhan issued Section 144 to prevent any deterioration of law and order. Section 144 will be in force from 6:00 p.m. Friday to 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4.

The guidelines mention any kind of law and order deterioration situation so that the police administration can deal with it with strict hands. And five or more people will not be able to move in the western district within the prescribed time. And no gathering can be done. Sharp weapons, sticks, rods, stones, bamboo etc. cannot be carried. Two bikes cannot travel together. West District Superintendent of Police Shankar Debnath has been directed to take action against violators under Section 188 of IPC. And police and paramilitary forces are deployed to maintain peace in the district.
