Agartala: Mar 02: BJP alliance has won 4 seats so far in Tripura assembly elections and is leading in 29 more seats. All in all, BJP is going to form the government in Tripura, it’s just a matter of time.

Meanwhile, Tipra Matha is leading in 12 seats and Left Front in 11 and Congress in 4 seats. Among the heavyweight candidates, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and Congress’ Sudip Roy Burman are leading. But, BJP president Rajeev Bhattacharya is lagging behind in Banmalipur seat.

In Jolaibari constituency, IPFT candidate Shukla Charan Nowatia won by a margin of 375 votes. Meanwhile, BJP candidate Ratan Lal Nath secured victory in Mohanpur constituency by a margin of 7385 votes, Ranjit Das in Amarpur constituency by 4594 votes and Antara Sarkar Deb by 1744 votes in Kamalasagar constituency.
