Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has congratulated the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its decisive victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, calling the outcome a reaffirmation of the people’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He said the mandate clearly reflects the public’s desire for sustained peace, harmony, and all-round development.
Recalling his campaign engagements in Bihar, including well-attended rallies in Champaran, Dr. Saha said he was confident from the beginning that the BJP would secure an overwhelming victory. “People want peace and harmony along with development and prosperity in every sector. The people of Bihar have already seen the difference that the Modi-led government can bring. That is why they have chosen the BJP to lead the state once again,” he stated.
Dr. Saha further asserted that the political winds are shifting across eastern India, expressing optimism that West Bengal would soon witness a similar transformation. “People in West Bengal are eagerly waiting to bring change. They want to free the state from the current situation. Very soon, BJP will also form the government there,” he said, adding that public sentiment in the neighbouring state mirrors the desire for progress seen in Bihar.
The Chief Minister’s remarks reflect the BJP’s increasing momentum in the region, with the Bihar mandate being viewed as a major boost to the party’s organizational strength and future political prospects. Leaders within the party believe the victory will energize cadre and supporters across eastern India, paving the way for further consolidation.
Dr. Saha emphasized that the verdict is not just a win for the BJP but a strong endorsement of Prime Minister Modi’s vision for inclusive development and good governance, resonating deeply with voters across state boundaries.
