Unakoti, Nov 10 — Former Union Minister of State Pratima Bhoumik continued her outreach efforts in Unakoti district with a series of interactions aimed at deepening grassroots connections and reinforcing the party’s regional presence.
On Monday, Bhoumik paid a courtesy visit to the residence of Minister for ARDD and Fisheries, Sudhangshu Das, where the two leaders discussed regional development initiatives and ongoing organizational matters. The meeting reflected the party’s consistent emphasis on collaboration between leaders and local functionaries to ensure cohesive development across all levels.
During the visit, Bhoumik also engaged with local party leaders and workers in the presence of Minister Das, reviewing progress on welfare schemes and upcoming organizational activities. Her interaction focused on strengthening coordination and ensuring that the party’s message of inclusive growth reaches every section of society.
A day earlier, on Sunday, Bhoumik visited the historic pilgrimage site of Unakoti, where she spent time interacting with party workers from various mandals and organizational units. After an overnight stay at the Circuit House, she addressed karyakartas, stressing the importance of maintaining a direct connection with the people.
“It is through conversations with our grassroots workers that we truly understand the people’s concerns. Their voices reflect how deeply the Modi government stands by the citizens,” Bhoumik stated.
Her consecutive visits and active engagement highlight a renewed organizational drive to listen, understand, and address local aspirations. By focusing on direct dialogue and field-level involvement, Pratima Bhoumik reaffirmed the party’s commitment to empowering its grassroots network and ensuring that governance and development initiatives align closely with the needs of the people in Tripura’s Unakoti region.
