Expressing his views after joining the party, Reang said, “I have joined the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) with the vision of ensuring the development, peace, and self-governance of the tribal and underprivileged people of Tripura. I will sincerely discharge the responsibilities entrusted to me by the party.”

The event witnessed the presence of RLD leaders and supporters from various districts of Tripura, who expressed their excitement and optimism over Reang’s inclusion. His joining is seen as a major boost for the party’s organizational expansion in the northeastern state.

Reang further announced that preparations for the upcoming Autonomous District Council (ADC) elections have already begun. He emphasized that the RLD will focus on strengthening its grassroots organization, building leadership at the village level, and drafting a concrete development roadmap for the tribal regions of the state.

Party sources said that Reang’s experience in governance and his deep connection with tribal communities will help the RLD establish a strong political foothold in Tripura. The central leadership of the party expressed confidence that under his guidance, the RLD will open a new political chapter in the state and play a significant role in addressing the aspirations of the people.

With Reang’s entry, the RLD aims to emerge as a new force in Tripura’s political landscape, prioritizing inclusive growth and empowerment of marginalized communities.
