Agartala: August 22: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today attended a joint drone demonstration organized by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles at the Assam Rifles ground in Agartala. The event showcased the growing role of advanced drone technology in India’s defense and security sector.
During the program, the Chief Minister interacted with soldiers and officers, encouraging them for their dedication and service to the nation. He also closely inspected the impressive display of modern combat strategies where drone technology was effectively used in various operational scenarios.
Dr. Saha, in a social media post, highlighted that under the visionary leadership and continuous efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s defense sector has witnessed remarkable progress in recent years. He emphasized that indigenous and advanced warfare technologies have strengthened the country’s capabilities, ensuring better preparedness against both external and internal threats.
