Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha personally handed over Rs 4 lakh each to the bereaved families in the presence of local administrative officials. The financial aid aims to provide some relief to the families during their time of grief.
The deceased were identified as Piyali Debbarma and Priyanka Debbarma from Ramsadhupara under Sidhai Police Station, Mahindra Singh from Joynagar area in Jirania, Tanmoy Debnath from Mandaipara, Liton Saha from Ujan Abhoynagar, Prasenjit Debnath from Brajannagar under Majlishpur, and Ankush Rishi Das from Pratapgarh.
Expressing his heartfelt condolences, Chief Minister Saha prayed for strength and solace for the affected families and reiterated the state government’s commitment to standing by its people during times of distress.
In addition to the aid distribution, CM Saha also held the 45th edition of his flagship public grievance redressal program, Mukhyamantri Samipeshu, a platform aimed at resolving citizen concerns directly.
Taking to social media, the Chief Minister wrote, “‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ has now turned into a major platform for the public to get their problems addressed. This initiative has been playing as a bridge between the Government and people. Like previous episodes, today conducted the 45th edition of the programme, addressing the people’s grievances & serving them in a better way. Every grievance matters. We are committed to the welfare of all.”
The program continues to garner public appreciation for its accessibility and prompt action, reflecting the government’s dedication to responsive and people-centric governance.
