Agartala: In a joint operation, Tripura Police apprehended two Indian touts and a Bangladeshi woman at Agartala Railway Station late on Friday night. The arrests were made following a tip-off regarding unauthorized movement across borders.

According to Officer-in-Charge of Government Railway Police Station, Agartala, Tapas Das, law enforcement authorities received prior intelligence on the movement of Bangladeshi individuals attempting to enter India. The arrested Bangladeshi woman allegedly entered the country unlawfully and was being assisted in traveling to a tier-one city by the touts. However, their journey was disrupted by the swift intervention of the police and other security agencies.
