Agartala: Mar 07: The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) has taken a significant step to address unemployment by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Japanese organization. This initiative aims to create career opportunities for nursing students, particularly from tribal communities, by enabling them to secure jobs in Japan.
Announcing the development at a press conference, former Tipra Motha leader and MDC Pradyot Kishore Debbarman highlighted the efforts of the ADC administration in supporting tribal youth interested in pursuing nursing and learning the Japanese language. According to the agreement, individuals trained in these fields under the ADC’s programs will become eligible for employment in Japan, with potential monthly salaries reaching up to two lakh rupees.
Debbarman emphasized the pressing issue of unemployment nationwide and urged the youth to seize this opportunity to build a better future. He also noted that proficiency in the Japanese language is a mandatory requirement for securing these jobs.
