The minister further stated that, through the State Level Nodal Agency, preparations are being made to execute several initiatives such as public conservation, pond excavation, and tree plantation programs. These steps aim to promote environmental sustainability and improve the state’s agricultural infrastructure.

He also highlighted the fact that the state once had over 250 waterfalls. However, only a few of them are currently operational. The government plans to identify the sources of the remaining waterfalls and revive them to restore their natural beauty and ecological benefits.

The meeting emphasized the importance of sustainable resource management and conservation practices. With the concerted efforts of the State Level Nodal Agency and government intervention, these programs aim to improve the state’s water management, promote afforestation, and rejuvenate the natural environment, benefiting both the present and future generations.
