Minister Pranjit Singh Roy highlighted that January 26th is both Republic Day and Constitution Day, celebrating the work of Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution. He mentioned that the state BJP has organized a series of programs for Constitution Day, running from January 11 to January 25.

During the event, Minister Roy criticized the opposition, stating that the Congress and the Left Front have never respected the Constitution and have often used it as a point of criticism. He emphasized that a nation cannot progress without respecting the Constitution and that misinformation about it must be stopped. He urged that the importance of respecting the Constitution be brought to the people’s attention to ensure the country’s progress.

Minister Roy also stressed the need to create a proper understanding of the Constitution among the public by raising awareness in different areas, educational institutions, and other places. He expressed hope that this would further awaken people’s respect for the Constitution of the country.
