According to the pre-arranged schedule, panchayat officers and other attendees were present at the swearing-in ceremony at Araliya Gram Panchayat. Four candidates from the Tipra Matha party won in Aralia Gram Panchayat. Approximately 70 to 80 chairs were arranged for the ceremony. However, upon arrival, the elected representatives and leaders of the Tipra Matha party found that all the seats were occupied by BJP supporters, leaving no place for them to sit.

Led by Buddha Debbarma, the elected representatives and supporters of the Tipra Matha party decided to boycott the ceremony. Buddha Debbarma stated that the lack of seating arrangements for their members was a failure on the part of the BDO. He also mentioned that the elected representatives of the Tipra Matha party would take their oaths after discussing the matter with the BDO.
