Investigation into Kali Idol Vandalism Underway; Financial Aid for Victims

Agartala: August 26: A thorough investigation will be conducted into the breaking of the Kali idol and subsequent incidents, with the administration pledging financial assistance to the victims. This assurance was given by West District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar during his visit to Ranirbazar, Durganagar, and Kaitrabari areas today. Accompanied by a large police force, Dr. Kumar also engaged with the local residents.

Addressing the media, Dr. Kumar described the incident in Ranirbazar last night as very unfortunate, noting that attempts are being made to disturb peace and order. He confirmed that the administration will carry out a comprehensive investigation into the vandalism of the Kali idol and related events. The police have already commenced their investigation.

Dr. Kumar further stated that those responsible for the incident will be identified and subjected to exemplary punishment. He assured that necessary measures will be taken to ensure the safety of the local community.
