Agartala: August 20: State President Rajib Bhattacharjee has been nominated as the BJP candidate for the Rajya Sabha from Tripura. The announcement came after an extensive meeting in Delhi, where the names of nine BJP candidates across four states were revealed.

Rajib Bhattacharjee expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the party’s state president and Union Health Minister JP Nadda for his nomination. In his message, he conveyed his eternal gratitude for the trust placed in him and his commitment to working towards making India a global leader and improving Tripura. He also affirmed his dedication to serving the Bharatiya Janata Party throughout his life.

Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha congratulated Rajeev Bhattacharya on social media, expressing confidence in his victory and his potential to contribute to Tripura’s development under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

MP Biplab Kumar Dev also extended his heartfelt congratulations to Rajeev Bhattacharya on social media, wishing him success in his new role as a Rajya Sabha candidate from Tripura.
