Agartala: August 02: Candidates who appeared for the SSC GD Constable post have raised allegations that out-of-state youth are obtaining fake Permanent Resident Certificates (PRTCs) to secure jobs. In response, they organized a protest today at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in the capital.

The protesters claim that candidates from outside the state have been acquiring fake PRTCs in exchange for money to participate in the SSC GD Constable examination held in 2021-22. They argue that this practice is unfairly disadvantaging local candidates. With the physical and oral examinations for the constable post scheduled for this month, the protesters decided to voice their concerns.
