Pradyot met HM
Agartala: July 26: Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, after meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, has returned to the state. The discussions centered on the 125th amendment to the Indian Constitution. Notably, the Union Home Minister announced the formation of a three-member committee, which will decide on matters related to ten self-governing district councils in the Northeast. This committee, jointly established by the central and state governments, aims to address the development needs of the tribal communities in Tripura. Pradyot Kishore Debbarman and Vijay Hrankhwl represent the state in this crucial endeavor.
However, critics point out that such political maneuvers often coincide with election cycles. They liken the situation to a theatrical performance, where promises abound but tangible results remain elusive. As the drama unfolds, Tripura’s political landscape continues to evolve, with the BJP playing a central role.
