Agartala: July 01: The current state government has placed a special emphasis on improving healthcare services for all residents. A series of measures are underway to enhance health infrastructure and accessibility across different regions. These initiatives align with the overarching goal of achieving “Health for All.”
Notably, the state government has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Apollo Hospital to provide free treatment for children afflicted with heart disease. This collaboration aims to ensure that critical medical care reaches those in need, regardless of financial constraints.
Additionally, the government has set an ambitious target: making all villages and panchayats tuberculosis-free by 2025. By prioritizing preventive measures and early intervention, the state is committed to safeguarding the health and well-being of its citizens.
