Agartala: June 18: In a significant development for the residents of Sabrum, the Kanchenjunga Express has now been extended to their town, marking a momentous occasion filled with anticipation and joy. On its inaugural journey from Sabrum to Sealdahar, the train departed at 6:20 am with approximately 140 passengers onboard.
The commencement of the service was officiated by the station master of Sabrum, who signaled the start with a ceremonial waving of the green flag. A considerable crowd gathered at the Sabroom railway station early in the morning to witness and celebrate this historic event. The extension of the Kanchenjunga Express is expected to enhance connectivity and contribute positively to the local community.
