Five Drug Traffickers, Including Woman, Arrested by Police in Goala Basti

Agartala: May 29 : In a significant operation, the police apprehended five drug traffickers, including a woman, in the Goala Basti area. The suspects were found in possession of illicit substances and cash. 400 packets of brown sugar, 3000 empty packets, Cash amounting to Rs 1,25,510.

Acting on secret information, the NCC police station initiated an operation to curb drug trafficking. The raid was conducted based on intelligence suggesting a large-scale drug transaction in the area. Police detained Lalkishan Rai, Lalbabu Rai, Dharmendra Rai,  Rahul Saha, Gardiya Devi (the woman suspect).

The arrested individuals will be produced in court, with a request for police remand.
