Agartala: Feb 07: A rally was organized by the 8 Town Bardowali Mandal from the Agartala Rabindra Bhavan premises to thank Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha and other ministers for presenting a public welfare and benevolent budget. The procession toured various roads of the city.

While addressing journalists, a BJP worker stated that the central government has presented a public welfare budget under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2025. He expressed gratitude to all the central ministers for this. Additionally, he mentioned that appointment letters for jobs were distributed to 2806 people at Astabal Maidan on February 5, thanking Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha and other ministers for this initiative.

 

The BJP worker also mentioned that the rally was organized to protest against the remarks of All India Congress leader Sonia Gandhi in the Parliament. He alleged that the opposition is spreading confusion in the state regarding the central budget. The opposition has organized a rally in the city, which he strongly condemned and protested against.
