Teliyamura shop raid administration many expired items confiscated! !

Teliamura sub-division administration and food department launched a drive against expired items in Teliamura market on Monday and to make buyers and sellers aware of various issues.

The drive and awareness campaign of Sub-Divisional Governor and Food Department is continuing in Teliyamura market An awareness campaign was organized in Teliyamura market on Monday in the joint initiative of DCM of Teliyamura, Controller of Food Department, District Food Safety Department. This campaign is carried out in various shops of Teliamura market including small and medium traders, food wholesalers

After this operation, DCM Bappaditya Roy of Teliyamura sub-district governor’s office said that the Teliyamura Hatbar will be held on Monday. Usually there is more crowd of buyers and sellers in Hatbar market The main objective of this campaign is to convey the message of more awareness among traders, buyers, sellers

This day’s campaign and awareness campaign is about whether the traders who are selling food items have expiry date, whether the food of fast food shops are being served healthily, and also about the use of plastic etc. He also said that besides making people aware, samples of various food products have been collected which will be sent for lab testing.

In this regard, those traders who have noticed some inconsistencies in their shops have been instructed to contact the Sub-Divisional Food Department. Also, the cylinders of all those food shops which are using domestic cylinders instead of commercial gas cylinders are also seized. Teliamura DCM also said that such operations will continue in the future
