Agartala: Dec 22: Police arrested two drug dealers with drugs. They were produced in court on Thursday. Police operation against drug dealers continues in the city. Often the police are conducting operations against these. On Wednesday night, based on a tip-off, police of East Agartala police station raided Sadhutila Das Para area. The drug dealers want to escape with the car after seeing the police complaint. But did not succeed. The police of Purba police station and Maharajganj outpost seized the car. Two people were arrested. They are Piyush Das of Sadhutila and Prasenjit Dey of Majumdar Para in Kantashewola. Various items including heroin, city money, empty pots were recovered from them. The arrested were brought to East police station and interrogated. On Thursday, the arrested were sent to the court with the application of police remand.
