Agartala, December 6: Assam Rifles has succeeded in its anti-narcotics campaign. Assam Rifles managed to recover 20,000 yaba tablets by raiding on the basis of secret information. No one could be arrested in that incident.

Assam Rifles said in a statement that a secret news came last night that a large amount of drugs would be smuggled to the border area of Bangladesh in Sonamura. The operation was carried out by jawans of the Assam Rifles. After reaching the Bangladesh border area in Sonamura, the security forces noticed the movement of two suspects. The two men, seeing the incident, threw the two packets they had in the deep forest and ran away. Later, when the packet was recovered from the forest and searched, the police seized 20,000 Yaba tablets from it.
