The 124th birth anniversary celebration and tribute programme for Bharat Keshari Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee was organised by the Department of Information and Culture, Tripura, at Hall No. 2 of Rabindra Centenary Bhavan. This significant event was graced by the presence of State Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, Secretary of the Information Culture Department PK Chakraborty, Adhikatta Bimbisar Bhattacharya, Cultural Committee Advisor Subrata Chakraborty, and other dignitaries. The ceremony served as a profound homage to one of India’s distinguished leaders and aimed to foster awareness about his immense contributions to the nation.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of a candle, symbolising the illumination of Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee’s enduring legacy. The Chief Minister, along with other dignitaries, pa

id their respects by offering flowers in the image of Dr. Mukherjee. This gesture of tribute was a heartfelt acknowledgment of his tireless efforts and sacrifices for the nation.

Students and teachers from various schools and colleges across the state participated enthusiastically in the event, highlighting the educational and inspirational aspects of Dr. Mukherjee’s life and work.
