Agartala: Sept 25: Under the able guidance of Shri Mukesh Tyagi Commandant, 124 Bn CRPF “Kalash Yatra” campaign under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Meri Mitti Mera Desh is going on in different locations of the state. The 124 battalion CRPF officials alongwith Nehru Yuva Kendra volunteers mitti has been collected from home of martyers’ in different areas. The Dy. commandant Ojit Singh said, ” We have visited martyers’ home here in Arundhuti nagar and College Tilla areas and interacted with the family members of martyers and appealed them to hand over little mitti from their home. Mitti has been collected from the wife of Lance Naik driver Ranjit Choudhury and Saheed constable PD Nath in West Tripura. Our campaign has been accomplished in the area of Narsing Garh in West Tripura and Rambabu Para at Taidu in Gomati District too. In the programme Mitti from parents of Saheed Constable Santanu Sarkar of Narsing Garh and wife of Saheed Sub- Inspector Manga Ram Debbarma of Rambabu Para under Taidu PS in Ampi nagar Gomati Tripura has been collected. Civil public, goverment department, NGO Group were also accompanying us in this patriotic programme with enthusiastic mode with the battalion soldiers.” Under the supervision of Dy. commandant Ojit Singh, the battalion soldiers are maintaining the campaign well and the public is cooperative with the CRPF soldiers. The CRPF officials have explained the sense of the campaign and motivated people over the programme.
