Under the aegis of Shri. Mukesh Tyagi, Commandant-124 BN, CRPF
Salbagan, the World Environment Day has been observed with enthusiastic manner on 5/06/2023 at 0930
hours by taking pledge by all the personnel of 124 BN, CRPF. On this auspicious day, 124 BN CRPF also organized Mega Plantation Drive programme along with the West
Tripura Forest Department at Lichubagan area. In the Mega plantation drive, Shri. Mukesh Tyagi, Commandant-124 BN, CRPF, Shri. Vijay Shankar, 2I/C-124 BN, Shri. Jaikrishnan, (IFS), DFO West Tripura, Shri, Sanjay Majumder (IFS), Additional Director, Urban Forestry, Agartala, Other officers and men of 124
BN, CRPF and Forest Department took part on this motivational Mega Plantation drive programme. Under the supervision of the battalion commandant a large scale of saplings of different trees have been planted. Mr. Taygi has inspired the Jawans to plant and protect saplings to maintain a hygienic environment for the society. The official participants emphasized over healthy atmosphere and given inspiration to all Jawans present on this
occasion of World Environment Day and cherished them for the conservation of the environment,
