Agartala: June 17: During his visit to various locations in Cooch Behar, MP Biplab Kumar Deb met with victims and discussed the current political climate in West Bengal. He expressed concerns about the safety of women and children amidst the alleged political unrest.

MP Deb reported that post-election, there have been instances where individuals have had to leave their homes due to threats and attacks. He emphasized the need for protection of women in the state and called for corrective measures.

In his statement, MP Deb also reflected on the historical political landscape of Bengal and urged for introspection among current leaders. He announced that all findings from the investigation into the alleged post-election violence in West Bengal will be submitted to BJP All India President JP Nadda.
